Two Outlook mail folders (I only set up one account) "Personal Folders" with

nothing in them and "name@hotmail.com" with numbers indicating the amount of

unread mail downloaded in each folder. When I try to open these folders I get

the message "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not

access the specified folder location." I have set my account to send the mail

to the "Personal Folders" but it still sends it to the other folders. If I go

to Hotmail.com and read my mail it changes the unread mail numbers in the

    outlook folders.

what version of Outlook? Are you using the Hotmail connector? If so, it will deliver to the name@hotmail folders. If you want them delivered to the personal folders you need to use POP3.
