offline button is greyed out

    I have several clients in which the offline button is greyed although " cached mode" is selected in our exchange/client config. Any ideas why? button should be available to the users in order for them to work offline etc.

    It's greyed out in the Ribbon? Are you sure you're in Cached mode? Look at the bottom right on the status bar does it say " All Folders are Up to Date" or " Updating" and " Connected to Microsoft Exchange" or does it say " Online with Microsoft Exchange Server" ?

    Hi, yes in the outlook email config cached is checked.

    Yes, I see that you have cached mode checked in the Config. What I'm trying to confirm is that your Outlook is actually IN cached mode - i.e. that cached mode is working properly.

    Have you tried creating a new Outlook profile? Troubleshooting Outlook -http://www.officeforlawyers.com/outlook/tsol.htm#newprof
