Default Outlook 2010 Share calendar but keep color formatting

I have been trying to create a planning calendar for one of our development teams. I have entered the meetings/key dates and assigned color categories for the different types of information.

Unfortunately, when I share the calendar, the various color categories disappear when other users/viewers pull up the calendar.

I have tried to follow information posted for 2007, but 2010 doesn't seem to work the same and I cannot get the command switch to work either.

Does anyone know how I can share the calendar with the categories and specific colors used?

if so, please provide basic steps.

    Thank you

In outlook 2010, colors are per user, so they need your categories and colors on their computer to see the colors. you can use an addin or vba to share categories. Outlook Categories and Color Categories - Slipstick Systems
